People interested in buying a home in northwest Calgary have a new opportunity through Shane Homes.
The builder recently launched pre-construction sales in Ambleton, a new master-planned community by Qualico Communities.
Reaching 160 acres, Ambleton is adjacent to the established community of Evanston, and will build out to more than 1,200 homes.
Shane is offering front-drive single-family homes starting from the low-$500,000s, including the lot and GST.
The builder’s standard models range from 1,767 to 2,575 square feet and are available in three-or-four bedroom orientations.
“Our buyers love that we customize along with our dedication to providing an outstanding experience,” says Melanie Gowans, general manager, sales, marketing and interior design at Shane Homes Group of Companies.
Shane will unveil its first show homes in the community this coming June, each featuring a mid-century farmhouse architectural style. They include the 2,303-square-foot Cypress and 2,428-square-foot Boston.
Both have three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
One of the show homes boasts a unique podcast room.
“Our show homes give buyers ideas, however,” adds Gowans. “the sky is the limit.”
The other architectural styles offered in Ambleton are Craftsman and Prairie.
Ambleton is designed to support its residents enjoying time in the fresh air. This includes 7.3 kilometres of planned and multi-use pathways, five parks, and an assortment of outdoor activity centres.
The community also has a site earmarked for a commercial area and another for a future high school through the Calgary Catholic School Division.
“The community is in such a great location, it’s an exciting opportunity for families waiting for a new northwest community,” says Gowans.
Located in the scenic Symons Valley corridor, Ambleton puts it residents near a wide range of shopping and dining amenities. This includes a five-minute drive to Creekside Shopping Centre, which is anchored by a Co-op grocery store, and a Wal-mart Supercentre in Sage Hill.
Creekside also has a variety of restaurants, places to pickup a coffee, banks, hair salons, a gym, and a medical clinic.
Ambleton is also less than five minutes from an established retail centre with a Sobeys grocery store in Evanston.
Bulk buyers will appreciate the community’s 10-minute drive from a Costco at Beacon Hill Shopping Centre, as well.
As another fitness option, Ambleton is also less than 15 minutes from Shane Homes YMCA in Rocky Ridge, which features a 25-metre, eight-lane pool.
