Esker Park is the first “super community” from the Shane Homes Group of Companies, entirely designed and developed by Shane Communities. This community is tailored to accommodate various life stages and will offer a variety of homestyles including townhouses, duplexes, laned-homes, front drive homes, and a multi-family site.
The meaning behind the name
The vision for Esker Park began back in 2009 when the land was purchased, with the planning and community development beginning in 2014. Artfully planned and nestled atop a landscape sculpted by glaciers, this community has been 22,000 years in the making. The name “Esker Park” pays homage to the historical roots of the glacier sculpted land formed over thousands of years. An “esker” is the winding ridge formed by a glacier, and “park” represents the central focal point of the community — an outdoor park space for gatherings, connection, and belonging.

Breaking Ground
Our groundbreaking took place on April 19th, 2024.
