Shane Communities Development
Shane Homes has been sponsoring the Calgary Minor Soccer Association since 2008. What started as a 3 year sponsorship is now into its 9th year. The sponsorship fits well with our philosophy to give back to the communities where we build and support causes that help children.
One of the goals of the sponsorship is to help CMSA ensure that youth soccer remains a sport that is accessible and affordable to children in Calgary. Although the details of the sponsorship have changed over the years, some of the many great services the sponsorship covers includes jerseys, tournament and metal sponsorship, mentorship program, coaching development, scholarships for young soccer players to further their post-secondary education and more.
A side benefit of the jersey sponsorship is that many teams donate their gently used jerseys to those less fortunate who can use them. We received this email from Robert at MSB Soccer (MacEwan, Sandstone, Beddington) that we wanted to share:
