She has also seen people choose luxury vinyl plank flooring over carpet, which is easier for upkeep, and widely-considered beneficial for resale value, as well.   
“How do they like to use the kitchen?” says Hawco of other things buyers should keep in mind when making selections, including its functionality. “Would they like an island through Shane Multi-Family? Do they want to bring in a kitchen table of their own?”
