The Mark 101 New Homeowner
Nicola Adison recently moved into her new condominium at The Mark 101. We couldn’t be happier to have her in the neighbourhood!
Why The Mark 101?
When Nicola isn’t working, she likes to spend time with family and friends. At the same time, she was looking for a space to call her own. “I wanted to live on my own,” she said. “I didn’t need a lot of square footage and I didn’t want a roommate.” The Mark 101 fit her needs in terms of size and budget.

As for the location in Sage Hill, Nicola appreciates how close her new condo is to her family, as well as her shopping essentials. “I like the shopping conveniences and it’s also an easier commute to work.” She said that the neighbourhood has met her expectations since she moved into her new condo. “I was already familiar with the surroundings,” Nicola said. “But I continue to enjoy the endless conveniences.”

As one of the newest members in our community, Nicola said that she already likes her neighbours. “I met a couple of the neighbours and am finding the building to be super friendly!”
The Mark 101 must-haves
While house hunting, Nicola had a list of specific features she needed from her new home. Luckily for her (and us!), The Mark 101 met these needs. “I was looking for lots of cabinets, drawers, and counter space in a one-bedroom, which is hard to find,” Nicola said. She was also looking for lots of sunlight in her new condo—something that The Mark 101 can provide! The tall windows allow lots of natural light.

There are a few features in her new home that Nicola is especially happy to have. “My upgraded appliances are stainless steel,” she said. “My refrigerator has both an icemaker and water dispenser attached to the standard water line. Most buildings don’t offer this!” And even though The Mark 101 is condo-living, the building still offers outdoor space for relaxing and barbequing. “The gas line on the large balcony was super important.”

Nicola isn’t the only one loving her new space. Her friends and family are impressed too! “They love how modern and trendy it is,” she said.
Working with Shane Multi-Family
Nicola Adison found us the old fashion way: she followed our signage to the sales office. From there, “The buying process was easy and straightforward,” she said. “I always felt comfortable because I was advised of the steps to expect. I originally thought purchasing real-estate was going to be stressful, but it never came close. No stress whatsoever!”

For those who aren’t familiar with Shane Multi-Family, customization is our specialty—even in condominium buildings. Nicola upgraded and customized a few features in her home as well. “I selected some upgraded appliances due to my love for cooking,” she said. “I also went for quartz countertops versus the standard granite.”

The moment of truth is when we ask our new homeowner if they would recommend Shane Multi-Family to their own friends and family. Nicola’s response? “Definitely. My sister-in-law already bought right next door! I’ll continue to pass the good word.”
