After a long winter, the air filters in your HVAC unit are likely to be packed with dust, impacting the quality of air in your home. By replacing these filters during spring cleaning, you will capture unwanted, airborne particles helping you breathe easier. Additionally, if one of your family members is particularly susceptible to seasonal allergies, investing in an air purifier will help improve air quality and reduce stuffiness.
 
Declutter Your Rooms
 
Hanging onto things you no longer need can lead to disorganization and a collection of dust. A cluttered room can make it difficult to think clearly and has the potential to cause physical harm (i.e. falling over a pile of laundry, items falling on you, etc.) There are several different ways to declutter, including:
 
  • Re-organizing your closet and donating/discarding clothing items you no longer wear
