A community in central Airdrie will continue to reach significant milestones in 2021.
Master-planned by Shane Communities, development of Midtown is now just beyond 50% complete.
The community will continue to take shape with a new phase, new show homes, and the start of development on two new parks in the coming months.

Development is complete on three phases of the community and a fourth is slated to open this coming April.
The builder group in this phase features Trico Homes, Shane Homes, and Wave Homes, with prices on homes starting from the mid-$300,000s, including the lot and GST.
All three builders have lots to build front-drive single-family homes in this phase.

Trico Homes will also offer laned single-family homes, while Wave Homes will have front-drive paired homes and Shane Homes will have rear-drive paired homes, both on street-fronting and scenic park-front lots.
Shane Homes’ show homes are currently open, while Trico’s and Wave’s are expected to follow in March and early April, respectively.

The new phase is located on the community’s northeast end. It will include single-family lots backing on to Midtown’s large, picturesque pond.
Shovels will turn for development of two parks in this phase in mid-April 2021.
One park will feature play equipment and the other park and the other is planned to focus on open play and include seating and picnic areas.

Both parks are incorporated in the community’s linear pathway system and located within a quick walk from homes in the new phase.
These parks are slated to be usable for residents sometime in summer 2021.

Midtown is accessed off 8th Street S.W. in Airdrie and boasts a commercial development with multiple shops and services, anchored by a Tim Hortons.
The community is located within walking distance of a Sobeys grocery store and about a five-minute drive to both downtown Airdrie and Chinook Winds Regional Park.
