Jim, boasts a rich background of over 25 years in the construction industry, commencing his journey in 1998. His expertise spans a diverse array of projects, from small boutique custom homes to large-scale single-family residences, townhomes, and substantial renovations. A lifelong learner, Jim successfully completed the Master Homebuilder program while simultaneously working on other exciting projects and raising two sons. Recently fulfilling a childhood dream, Jim is learning to weld at SAIT, adding a new skill to his already impressive repertoire. Joining the Shane team, Jim brings a wealth of experience, known to some team members already.

Outside of the construction realm, Jim seamlessly transitions into a different arena.  His sporting background finds expression in his year-round participation in hockey – acknowledging the pace may have slowed over time. He also finds fulfillment in various activities, including hiking, paddleboarding, boating, and the continual pursuit of new skills, showcasing a well-rounded and adventurous spirit.

A firm believer in diligence and attention to detail, Jim’s commitment extends beyond the worksite to the belief that building a family’s new home is a responsibility that demands nothing but the highest standards
