A centrally-located community in Airdrie has a new set of opportunities for people who are in the market for a new home.
Pre-sales are now open on homes in Midtown’s Phase 3. This includes front-drive and laned single-family homes, in addition to paired homes and park-front paired homes.

Development of Midtown, accessed off 8th Street S.W., and master-planned by Shane Communities is about 50 per cent complete.
It features homes from Shane Homes, Trico Homes, and Wave Homes.
The new phase is located on the northeast end of the 89-acre community, putting residents even closer to its established family-friendly amenities.
“The bridge and promenade are right here,” says Karen Kotchar, area sales manager for Shane Homes in Midtown. She has worked for the builder since 2005.
“It’s maybe a minute walk from Phase 3 to the giant playground.”
Midtown will open a new show home parade to demonstrate what’s available in Phase 3 in 2021.
In 2020, Midtown continued to be a top pick for people buying a new home in Airdrie.

Kotchar calls interest in the community, which is part of an established end of Airdrie, “strong.”
“People are choosing this community,” Kotchar says, attributing some of that success to the fact that many of its key elements are already in place, including a scenic pond.
“The common areas, the walking paths and the green spaces, are centered around that pond that is already built,” she adds. “From every angle in the community, you can see the pond.”
Its proximity to shopping and dining options is another meaningful perk. This includes a commercial development within the community anchored by a Tim Hortons.
“It’s a new community in an area where an older community would normally be,” says Kotchar.
“You are so close to everything,” she adds. “You are minutes to being right downtown.”
