We are currently searching for a Help Desk Administrator to join our team in the Information Technologies department. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. They will also possess the technical skills required to support our growing I.T. team in the maintenance of our internal and external infrastructure. 

 Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite (and remote) technical support for software/hardware/ user related issues
  • Ensure departments have appropriate systems and programs to meet operational needs
  • Train users on proper use of new systems, software and hardware
  • Provide daytime and after hours technical support for all staff, as required
  • Coordinate software installations and maintenance of required software, including updates
  • Provide external network and systems support including setting up hardware, software, and wireless connections required in show homes and sales centers
  • Support the technological needs of field staff, including set up and maintenance of phones, iPads, laptops etc.
  • Help maintain administrative records relating to the sourcing and maintenance of corporate assets
  • Support the I.T. team, as directed, during outages and while undertaking any installation, implementation or continuity initiatives
 Essential Requirements:
  • 3+ years’ experience
  • CompTIA A+ (or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Remote Utilities/Team Viewer/ Go To Meeting
  • Priority will be given to candidates with recent exposure to the following:
    • Crystal Reports
    • AutoCAD
    • Linux
  • Occasional requirement to lift/move objects 35+ pounds to fulfil responsibilities of the position
  • Experience with Windows & base Windows Suite programs
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Security systems & access control knowledge
  • Experience in homebuilding industry an asset, but not required
  • Must have reliable vehicle and be able to travel to worksites and show suites
