The Shane Homes Group of Companies, a leading residential home builder since 1979, constructing quality new homes in premier communities throughout Calgary & Airdrie has an opening for an Area Sales Manager.

Job Summary
Reporting to the GM of Sales & Marketing, the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, experienced, and will connect with prospective customers in a timely manner while guiding them throughout the entire buying process. A solid track record in sales of new homes is essential.

Key Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to):
  • Build connections with potential homebuyers, exceeding their expectations and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of all Shane Homes Group of Companies home types, offerings, value propositions and services.
  • Communicate with prospects through various digital platforms such as social media, text, email, phone, live chat, and in person at the sales centre.
  • Identify prospects needs for qualification.
  • Document all needs in customer profile to ensure we can track a positive customer experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments.
  • Update CRM daily to ensure all interactions are noted, properly segmented, and other departments are prepped for future service opportunities.
  • Exceed sales goals and objectives.
  • Prospecting from current lead database.
  • Managing and negotiating with clients
  • Attend sales meetings
  • Managing the sale of a new home throughout the construction process until turnover.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Department to develop strong campaigns
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of new home industry – min 2 years experience (Townhomes a plus)
  • Passionate about providing a top of the line customer experience to all prospects and customers.
  • Digitally savvy including professional use of social media and instant lead and messaging platforms.
  • CRM experience.
  • Online sales tactics and strategies.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse communities and customers.
  • Able to work showhome hours.
  • Must be self-motivated, have strong sense of urgency and the ability to multi task.
