Two Grand Prize Show Homes worth over $1.1 Million in Children’s Home Lotto

Calgary, April 6 – The 18th Annual Kinsmen Children’s Hospital Home Lotto officially launches today with 1896 prizes valued at over $3.23 million. This year’s lottery features two show homes designed by Shane Homes worth over $1.1 Million each. The Grand Prize, located in the southeast community of Walden features 3,169 square feet of living space. The developed walk-out basement is an entertainers dream with 993 square feet of recreational space and access to a covered concrete patio that features a stone-faced gas fireplace, outdoor kitchen with built in barbeque, functional sink and mini fridge.

The 2nd Grand Prize home features 12 foot ceilings, dual islands in the kitchen, a dedicated kid’s entertainment room and an exclusive gathering area perfect for entertaining. Located in the Northwest community of Panorama, this house is sure to delight every member of the family.

Ticket buyers who purchase before 11pm on June 13, 2010 will be eligible to win this year’s Early Bird Prize of $100,000 tax free cash – buy your dream car or vacation. Other prizes include luxurious vehicles, worldwide vacations, electronics and so much more.

The Kinsmen Children’s Hospital Home Lotto has provided more then $22 million in funding to the Alberta Children’s Hospital. This year’s lotto will help fund state-of-the-art equipment at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, the Next Generation DNA Short Sequencer - the first of its kind at a hospital in Canada. This equipment will help our child health experts unlock the mysteries of genetic disease.
