The City of Calgary is home to a large number of parks and expansive green areas. With over 1200 kilometres of walking and cycling paths, you'll find yourself often beside the Bow or Elbow River. In south Calgary you can visit Fish Creek Provincial Park where you often spot deer or elk grazing on the grassland. Nose Hill Park in north Calgary has been left untouched so you can imagine what the homesteaders must have seen when Calgary was first settled.
