At Shane Homes we are connecting with our customers, listening to what they want and taking action! We have always listened to what are customers want, but now we are taking it to a whole new level. Through our extensive use of listening groups we are able to identify exactly what our customers are looking for in a new home and a new home builder. We take the information we learn from these groups and incorporate it into the way we build homes. This innovative way of listening to our customers has opened up a whole new way of doing business for us at Shane Homes.

Two new models added to our line-up
Yaccato I and Yaccato II | Designed by women for women!
Shane Homes unveiled two innovative new floorplans that have been completely designed by women for women. The Yaccato line is the result of conducting listening groups with women. We asked them what they were looking for in a new home, reached a consensus as a group and designed two new floorplans incorporating everything they asked for.
The Yaccato II won two awards at the 2005 Alberta Awards of Excellence for Best Innovative Housing and Best Single Family Home (2,251 - 2,500 sq. ft.)
The idea and name of the two new models was inspired by Joanne Thomas Yaccato, author of "The 80% Minority: Reaching the Real World of Women Consumers".

Great new optional layouts added to our floorplans
Current and future homes | Designed with you in mind!
As a result of the ultra-successful Yaccato line, we have incorporated many of its features into optional layouts on our existing floorplans. Some of these options feature super-sized kitchens, luxury ensuites, extra storage, organizers and equally sized secondary bedrooms. Exciting new features in the Expressions Design Centre
Choosing your design selections | Less time, with greater satisfaction!
Shane's market research was instrumental in the physical and operational design of the Expressions Design Centre. We gathered suggestions from people about what was stressful and what wasn't and applied it to the design centre. One of the many things that resulted from this research was designing a monitored children's play area. Monitors have been placed throughout the space so that parents are able to choose their interior and exterior selections and still keep an eye on their children. |
