The program encompasses both experience and education leading to the certification mark of Master Home Builder. It is designed to have practical relevance and addresses issues currently faced by homebuilders. The Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta is a wholly owned, not-for-profit company of the Alberta New Home Warranty Program. The Institute supplies advanced education to the Alberta Home Builders' Association, the local associations and the residential construction industry in general.
